We are looking for an exceptional Registered Dietitian to join our team!
Job title: Registered Dietitian
Hours: 5-10 hours per week, flexible work hours with opportunity to increase
Location: Virtual, must live and be registered in the United States
Pay: Commission based
Start date: mid-November
Job Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional nutrition and body image coaching with a strong emphasis on disordered eating recovery.
Use your knowledge of nutrition, period health, intuitive eating and body image to create treatment plans, interpret labs, educate clients and support them.
Build rapport and a relationship with clients where they feel seen, heard and safe. Communication with clients is provided to build trust, encourage them to take action, and help them process struggles.
Confidently lead clients through recovery so they can get their periods back by utilizing cognitive behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, and positive psychology.
Support clients by providing tailored period comeback plans, 1-1 sessions and Slack messaging support in between sessions.
Support group members by providing Slack messaging support.
The ideal candidate:
Has extensive knowledge and experience working with clients with disordered eating
Has extensive knowledge of hypothalamic amenorrhea, and the specific strategies required to recover periods
Passionate about disordered eating recovery + women’s health
Experience with reading functional medicine labs preferred, but not required
Is confident, warm and encouraging
Requirements:2+ years experience providing nutrition counseling and/or coaching
Ability to learn new technology and software and integrate it into practice
Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to accomplish work independently
BS Degree from an accredited institution
Up-to-date registration as a registered dietitian, licensure if required per your state
Maintenance of continuing education
